Hurricane Harvey Relief Initiative

Although Hurricane Harvey has left the city of Houston, the flooding continues and the devastating aftermath will require a very long and difficult recovery.

We are channeling donations made by chefs, restaurateurs, hotels, and residences across the country to other relief organizations. All funds collected are going towards people and communities in need through local administrated non-profit organizations such as the Houston Food Bank.

Donations in kind follow the guidelines provided by the Houston Food Bank of the most needed items including food, basic supplies, and school supplies. HOSPITALITY for HOUSTON is coordinating a delivery of non-perishable food and beverage items donated by New York City restaurants, which will be driven down to Houston and gifted to the Houston Food Bank.

Some of the hospitality professionals who have already joined this initiative include: Joël Robuchon, Jonathan Benno, Will Guidara and Daniel Humm, Daniel Boulud, Carlos Suarez, Steve Hanson and Sean O'Toole.
